catcher post #2

Ok so now I'm a couple chapters in the second half of Catcher and nothing  has really changed. Holden is still very lonely. I feel like Holden is somewhat living in the past. He always reflects on the past. He regrets many things such as not giving a lot of money to the nuns he met at breakfast.

I really admire and can relate to his feelings towards his younger sister. He is always thinking about her, and is caring for her. Wanting to give her the  record and always wanting to go to the park to talk to her, shows us how much he really cares. It also allows us to realize how important family is to Holden.

I'm still waiting for the big and exciting section of the book... hopefully it will come!

I am waiting for the most exciting part of the book as well. Also, i agree that he is lonely. He regrets doing a lot of things and is very unsocial towards the rest of the world. He looks like he alway has something on his mind.
